She soon followed up with complimentary glasses of champagne for me and my guests! The food was more of a culinary experience and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had in Delaware. The cocktails are prepared by mixologists/bartenders that know what they’re doing. We ordered espresso martinis and lemon drops. The starters are refreshed periodically and reflect the chef’s eclectic viewpoint; I will never forget the oxtail empanadas that used to be on the menu, and the pork tostado that is on the current menu will take you to heaven! Service is outstanding and unpretentious and the classy yet welcoming atmosphere works for everything from a special family dinner to date night to girls night out. The Avocado dish was divine...perfectly warm with tantalizing flavors beneath it. The salmon was really good but we weren't fans of the "crisp" that comes with it which is made from the skin...too fishy for our taste. That's a personal preference.
