- MMarciaSan Diego •30 reviews5.0Dined todayWe liked Rusticucina so much on Monday night that we went back with different friends on Friday night. The decor and vibe are great. Only complaint: the noise level gets very loud. The servers are very attentive and warm. The food is delicious. The Osso Bucco (lamb) was fork tender, and the pesto pasta creamy and delicious. The fettuccini and shrimp was good, but not great. The salads were beautiful and worked well for two people sharing. Everyone really liked their dishes. This restaurant is a new favorite.More infoRustiCucinaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Hillcrest•4.7
- JJoAnnevipSan Diego •88 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur favorite local restaurant! Our waiter warmly welcomed us knowing us from previous visits. As usual he was spot on in suggesting wines, knowing the contents of each dish, and anticipating our needs. And the other support staff did an excellent job -- smoothly orchestrating the evening. The salad we shared and ate every morsel -- lettuce, escarole, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, almonds, chickpeas, and green beans with an oregano vinaigrette that was so, so, so delicious. My husband enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. The branzino was divine! We finished with a limoncello and vegan pistachio ice cream.More infoCUCINA urbanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Banker's Hill•4.7
