Best Italian Restaurants in Occidental

This was the first time we visited this establishment. The service was excellent and very attentive to our needs. The majority of all the dishes we order were well prepared and quite flavorful. Our granddaughter was not feeling too well and the restaurant made a special dish of noodles in a pesto sauce, which she enjoyed. The mussels, Broccoli di ciccio Caesar, Rock Cod and Braised Beef Pizzaiola were all delicious. The Eggplant Parm was flavorful but had more cheese than eggplant and was a bit soupy and could use a bit more structure. I can only comment on the dishes we ordered, but based on those we have a lovely mean and will certainly be going back.

We were here with our family to celebrate my wife’s 81st bitrthday. An absolutely lovely restaurant; just a little noisy, but it has a great bar, terrific appetizer and entree menus, lovely desserts, along with outstanding service. The ambiance being a beautifully restored old two story home with beautifully restored hardwood floors, indoor and outside dining, and including a huge wrap around porch for outdoor dining. It is just magnificent.

The food was excellent - fresh pasta, perfectly prepared. Our only complaint: the restaurant was cold; we had to keep our big coats on and wished we had lap blankets. So…dress warmly but definitely give this restaurant a try. Delicious!

Fantastic food and great service. The executive chef and owner made the rounds around the tables a couple of times - a really nice touch and experience. Would highly recommend.
