As you may have guessed, the name of the game is wholesome Italian fire-baked pizza and pasta, all made according to wonderfully traditional recipes. La Pizzeria at The Bridge & Beacon Singapore features a very pleasant indoor-outdoor seating arrangement that means you can dine al fresco with wonderful views of the West Coast marina and one or two glasses of quality wine, of course. We’d advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment.

Capri is a long way from Singapore – though they are both islands off a larger mainland – but if you’re looking to experience some of the best that the Italian island has to offer then you’re in luck. Capri Trattoria & Pizzeria on Binjai Park in Bukit Timah are as good an example of Italian cooking as you’re likely to find in Singapore, with a menu that takes in starters such as antipasti, soups and seafood, salads, risotto and pasta dishes and a huge range of meat and fish mains that are sure to delight. Take the MTR to King Albert Park and then wander back along Dunearn Road before turning onto Binjai Park to pay Capri Trattoria & Pizzeria, one of the best Italian restaurants in Singapore. Book a table, though, as they do get crowded on occasion.
