Best Italian Restaurants in Colwood

We went to Cafe Brio before catching a show at the Macpherson Playhouse last night. We couldn't get a table reservation the day-of, but they were able to accommodate us at the bar! The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The bartender was knowledgeable, sociable, and helpful. Try his sidecar--delicious! The food came out of the kitchen blazing fast despite the full house. The gnocchi was buttery and smooth, and the tagliatelle was incredibly flavourful--we both highly recommend that one. We splurged on dessert and the sticky toffee pudding was exactly as I hoped it would be--it was pitch-perfect. What an incredible meal!

Had a lovely evening and fantastic food! Julia brought out some complimentary suppli for all of us - fabulous and very thoughtful. It was pleasure being served by Emily and we all enjoyed our evening immensely. Thank you and hopefully I'm lucky enough to be back again some time soon! Sue

 Everything was very good except two of us had meals come out that were not hot. Our server was amazing and I really liked that we were given the type of table we asked for.

The restaurant was not crowded at 5:30 on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. The waitress appeared quickly and came back to take our orders after a short wait. The food was delivered in good time and was hot. We enjoyed our time.
