The entrance to the restaurant is a little narrow and we were stuck behind another couple waiting for the hostess, over 5 mins which felt slightly awkward. Upon being seated we were greeted promptly with an extensive wine list, (not a big wine enthusiast) however we enjoyed the cocktails. I had a potent yet tasty Oaxacan mezcal old fashioned, she had a spicy cucumber

Actually less expensive than I was expecting and good value for an exceptional dinner. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Lizagna had a sense of humor too.

The food was outstanding, a great selection of wines and liquors at the bar. Service was faster than expected, especially considering how busy the place was.     Everything was great! Hostess and server were very friendly and helpful. I’ve visited the location in Miami several times and it was nice having a location here in Austin as well and everything is just as good! I got the squid ink tonnareli and it was spicy and delicious. Vibe and ambiance was nice, entire restaurant was spacious. Highly recommended having a reservation?

    Highly recommend Vespaio. The food was delicious, one of the better Italian meals I have had anywhere outside of Italy. The staff was great, friendly and provided outstanding service. The drinks were well crafted and tasty. It was a lively, enjoyable atmosphere on Christmas Eve. When in Austin again, we will definitely be back to eat here. You should too.
