Best Italian Restaurants in Woodstock

Excellent restaurant with great service and food. Parking needs a valet service but we will definitely be back! Clint and Nick are terrific!

This was my second time having lunch at Gianni and Mac’s. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all outstanding. I took my Italian friend to get his opinion. He was very impressed with his meal (comparable to “back home”) and the overall restaurant design and decor. He says he wants to come back for dinner soon. The arancini balls are outstanding and you can’t miss with their pizza selections. This is my go to place on the Marietta Square.

Excellent restaurant, great place for date night, family outings and special occasions. The food is good but I did have some bad appetizers which thankfully the waiter comped. Drinks are always excellent although getting some special cocktails can be slow. Overall great spot and will return.

Outstanding Italian Dining Experience at Osteria Mattone We had an incredible Valentine’s Day dinner at Osteria Mattone, and everything—from the food to the service—was exceptional. We started with the Arancini Carbonara and burrata, both of which were excellent choices with rich, delicious flavors. The cocktails, Dark Manhattan and Om Old Fashioned, were simply outstanding. For our mains, we enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe pasta with Salmone, which was beautifully presented and packed with amazing flavors. The Branzino was equally impressive—perfectly cooked and full of taste. To finish, the Budino Caramellato was the perfect sweet ending, absolutely delicious. The ambiance was just right for a special evening—warm, inviting, and intimate. A special mention to Michaela, who provided top-notch service, recommending most of our dishes, all of which were spot on. Overall, Osteria Mattone exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine with impeccable service!

Food was great! Service was good, but not friendly. Super loud and hard to carry on a conversation at our table.
