Service: Reservation at 6:00pm. Checked in at 5:45pm. Allowed in at 6:01pm. Receptionists were accommodating. Waiter provided a brief description of dishes when asked. Checked in often. Attentive and patient. Servers described in greater detail the dishes they bring to the table. Food: Miso soup had two thin tofu slices garnished with diced chives. Moderately hot. Sea bass with black bean sauce was homey. Topped with ginger slices and chives. Black bean sauce was great over rice. Black cod with miso was delicate and velvety. Miso glaze was mildly sweet and savory. Black cod melted with every bite. Shrimp with spicy garlic sauce was well-seasoned. Shrimp had a perfect bouncy texture. Cucumber salad with crab had a zesty vinaigrette. Pickled radish wrapped around the crab was a refreshing bite. Cleansed the palate. Vanilla Miso Tart was creamy and delightful. Bento Box: Dark chocolate lava cake had an accompaniment of a variety of berries. A perfect balance of bitter and sweet. Ambience: Warm lighting Moderate chatter R&B/pop music

We had gotten used to KONA GRILL being number one! Having said that, it didn’t disappoint! Everything was magical!

The food was amazing, so so tasty. From the avocado tempura to the Peking duck, the sushi to the Lobster rice - everything was outstanding. Service was excellent and we were seated quickly.Loud music adds to a nightclubby atmosphere, but not too loud that you can’t easily have conversations. Highly recommend.

This is our go to place, amazing food, friendly atmosphere, and the staff is like family. Would recommend as one of our top places and this far surpasses the restaurants on the strip. Family friendly as well until obvious later hours. We have a well behaved and well versed two year old and come often but before 6 pm. After about 8 pm it turns into a more exciting night crowd which is also awesome.... once we find the right sitter lol . Our favorites are the tuna pizza, the yellowtail Serrano, the macaroni( i know...odd for a sushi place), king crab roll with warm butter sauce( order as a last dish as very rich but amazing) and if you want something more filling they have an awesome lobster noodle dish as well but I'm at loss for the name. Also get the green tea creme brulee or butter cake for dessert. If possible, ask for Amit or Jimena to be your server as they are amazing.. however I don't ever recall anyone that wasn't here to be honest. Vegas local since 2008, honest opinion...I've been everywhere

Our waiter Simon is always great along with all the other co-workers! We’re never disappointed when we’ve gone for dinner
