Best Japanese Restaurants in Leeson Street (D2)

Staff and ambient were great! Most of the disheses that we ordered were exquisite, like always, apart from the katsuo tataki, which had a strong fish market smell and taste. That one we really couldn't finish. On the flip side, the eel and spicy tuna were spot on

Yesterday, we went to the restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!

Overall, the dinner was lovely. The interior is beautiful and gives a great first impression. The food was gorgeous, pricey but you pay not only for food but also ambiance so I absolutely don't mind! However, the only downside was the service. On a quiet day, there is absolutely no reason to put the only two tables right beside each other, it was rather awkward. One situation that left quite a bad taste in my mouth was when the staff argued about an order. It was a genuine mistake - I ordered a lamb bao, and received a lobster one. Completely different but I had the staff argue as the lobster bao is called "Lambay" and tried to tell me I was the one that ordered wrong... Just a mistake however it wasn't handled great. The food was gorgeous, the spiced margarita with the lychee foam one of the best ones I had, but overall experience was a bit tainted and unfortunately I won't be rushing back.

I had a really nice lunch here today! Tasty food and great value. Sushi bento box had a great selection for the price. Staff were very welcoming. This is a great spot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
