- MMatthewLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBrought my girl here for her birthday. We live in Lancaster, so it was a big deal for us, but we felt the food was absolutely amazing. I loved the setting. Beautiful view, and I love dark places and relaxing music. The service was top tier. Everything came out very quick. It was perfect, for us, and we plan on going back sooner than later.More infoTakami Sushi & Robata RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.6

- HHectorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024If you're craving authentic Japanese food, Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya in Alhambra is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that transports you straight to Japan. I started with their famous Japanese meat skewers—absolutely delicious! The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. I’ll definitely be back for more!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya - AlhambraPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Alhambra•4.7
