- DDallasOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoTokyo Noir felt like a classy bar more akin to New York than a Long Beach alleyway. Between 5 drinks and 2 appetizers, nothing fell short of expectations, and most exceeded them. The service was intimate and engaging. The ambiance was unique and hard to find in this part of town. I thoroughly enjoyed the small capacity and do not like an overcrowded bar. It was classy and elegant - perfect for a date. I will definitely be coming back (if I can get another reservation, that is).More infoTokyo NoirPrice: Moderate• Speakeasy• Long Beach•4.9

- CCCeeCeeSvipLos Angeles •53 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024This is such a gem! Our little village needed this restaurant. This was our 2nd visit and Zoku is consistently delicious, attention to detail, and friendly/excellent service. We enjoy the Hatate Carpaccio, Large Ebi app, Karaage (both), Chicken wings, Chicken with mustard/garlic, and Japanese A5 wagyu (special). The chicken soup is comforting and delicious. We pair the food with a perfectly poured Sapporo and a bottle of Kubota sake. Looking forward to returning soon!More infoZokuPrice: Expensive• Japanese Speciality• Redondo Beach•5
- WWaynevipSan Francisco Bay Area •678 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 4, 2024Can’t ask for a better deal and healthy option than Shinsengumi Shabu!!! I mean most ingredients for the hot pot are fresh, high quality……not processed!! And the price for AYCE is too good , even better for seniors like me!!! I sit at the counter and always order the Tonkotsu broth with both pork meats and an ice cold jumbo mug of Sapporo……man, life is good!! But whatever you order, you always walk out with a truly satisfying feeling. And icing on the cake is outstanding, friendly service by Riley, Kenda and Yonosuke!!! Of all the Shinsengumi restaurants through out the Southland, this joint is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend for family, friends and even hot dates!!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Shabu-ShabuPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Hawthorne / Gardena•4.9
