- JJohnSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Traveling from San Francisco…on Christmas Eve…. We didn’t even expect to find a restaurant open let alone serving with joy and enthusiasm! Not sure which shined harder…the food or the service! Both were extraordinarily exceptional! We got the tasting menu for a price we would never had expected in an SF restaurant! It was a steal! But our wonderful server informed us we didn’t pick from each course…we got ALL the plates in each course. We were like: uhm…I know we are two decent sized guys but we are not a small army. She said the plates were small! And that is the only complaint I have. She said the plates were small! She lied! Virtually every plate was an entire meal! Sooooo much food. And all of it so good, we couldn’t stop eating! It was crazy! And it was all for a fraction of the cost of a comparable meal in San Francisco! One of the top 3 restaurants of my life!More infoCartagena by Juan Manuel BarrientosPrice: Expensive• Latin American• South Beach•4.2
