A Magical Christmas Dinner at Restaurant tbsp! We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Restaurant tbsp in Montreal this Christmas, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Tatianna, the hostess, who not only made us feel at home but also provided fantastic recommendations for local spots to explore during our visit to Quebec. Our server, Rodrigo, was a true gem. Trilingual, charismatic, and incredibly attentive, he made the evening even more special with his engaging personality and flawless service. He had a way of anticipating every need while adding a layer of joy and entertainment to the meal. Rodrigo is a true professional who elevates the dining experience. Now, on to the food—the highlight of the evening. As a former chef, I can confidently say this was one of the greatest culinary experiences of my life. The menu, crafted by the talented young chef Arthur from France, is nothing short of extraordinary. Lovely restaurant. We were there on a very cold day and coming from the outside into a warm, cozy, modern place felt amazing. We were offered a coat check, which was mind blowing for an American. We had reservations and we were seated right away , nice little table by the window. The restaurant was busy, lots of people enjoying themselves sipping wine and having conversations, so it was noisy, but in a good way. Our waitress was really attentive and pleasant. Food was great. I tried the bone marrow pasta, tasted delicious, but too much for me, and portion wise and “ too fatty “, in a good way though, I took it to go. My son really enjoyed it later. He also loved his NY steak. Amazing experience. I would totally come back and recommend.

The main entrance of the restaurent brings a lot of cold draft in when someone gets in or out. The satelite radio is a major downer of ambiance, especially with the commercials between songs. Food is amazing, service was OK but we felt like we were bothering or that we came in too late. Might be just me, but I had a bad vibe.

Amazing cauliflower app.. octopus had great flavor but was not hot—. Pizza were very thick and heavy—- service made errors but still charged and never brought correct potato dish. Charged us for both— VERY LOUD!!’
