Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Charles Village

Overall ambiance was great, as was the appetizer and dessert. The pasta entree was a little lackluster flavor wise but was ok. The view outside of the restaurant of the courtyard area was beautiful - tree lights and a fire pit!

Words cannot begin to describe how incredible this place is. Ammoora is an experience. From the waitstaff, to the cocktails, the atmosphere, each dish, is complex yet true to its Syrian heritage. Dean took incredible care of our party ensuring that our waters were full, we had a place to put our purses, and that our meal was appropriately coursed out. The manager made his round to us and enjoyed long conversation despite the restaurant being full. we never felt rushed or like a burden. The staff was thrilled to share their space with us and we were thrilled to receive every aspect of it.

I went on Valentine’s Day so that’s why I have it the ambience lower and the sound rating but I would 100% recommend this place to anyone I know and would easily go back myself the staff were very nice the decor was lovely and someone even with all the noise and fuss since they seemed to be quite overbooked for the holiday weren’t able to make it as though we were still kind of on your own you were able to feel like you could talk freely and you didn’t really hear the conversations of tables around and it was still somewhat intimate between you and your date or party. One of the best meals I have ever had since living in the Baltimore area that didn’t break the bank.

The freshest and most delicious fish! Our group had the branzino, red snapper and dorade. All great!

We had the tasting menu for a table of 11 — the food was amazing, the tasting menu was fun, and the service was warm and responsive — highly recommend!
