- DDallasvipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI think this is the best restaurant food in Boston right now, really outstanding. The wine program is exclusively Greek, the list is huge, the grape varieties unfamiliar and unpronounceable, but the waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant struggles to keep wines in stock; I ordered two bottles that were not available that night. The place is crowded and noisy, the patrons generally young and hip, lots of fun.More infoKrasiPrice: Expensive• Greek• Back Bay•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food was incredible; delicious, fresh, and homemade. Tastefully small menu with a good number of specials that are not on the menu. I was one of 4 tables seated. The entire place looks to only have 14 or so tables that aren’t too close together, so it’s nice and quiet! Highly recommend for an occasion.More infoEuno RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.7
- HHenryGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was my 1st visit to Alcove. I wanted a more upscale dinner experience just prior to the Celtics game that evening. Our expectations were more than met. Our 4:45pm reservation perfectly matched the 8:00pm game time. The service was excellent. Assistance with our wine choices was on point. I was worried that our menu choices were a bit slim but we settled on splitting a few appetizers, with knowledgable input from our waitress. All of our selections were tasty and of sufficient quantity. I think the cost of our meal was appropriate. You could easily spend as much inside the TD Bank Garden with far less quality. I would say, Alcove is not the best place to bring young kids. It has total grown folks, upscale, candle lit ambience. But, by the time we left at around 6:30pm, most of the patrons were decked out in Celtics gear. This was just a cool choice for us and it made me think of just coming back to hang out whenever I plan to be in the area.More infoAlcovePrice: Expensive• American• West End•4.4
- DDanielvipGreater Boston •31 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024This was our second visit to Tresca. For the first, we were privileged to sit at Table 77 (this was the jersey number of former Boston Bruin Ray Bourque who is part owner of this establishment), the lone balcony table overlooking Hanover Street. This time, we dined in the main restaurant which was pleasant. We had a pair of gift cards to apply towards dinner. It turns out, the vendor of one of the cards had gone out of business, rendering the card invalid. The manager visited our table to explain and offered to comp the expired card as a courtesy. In return, we gave the entire amount to our waitress Sydney for a job-well-done. The food was excellent and I especially enjoyed Anna Maria's meatball appetizer. Can't wait to return!More infoTrescaPrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.7
