- LLeoChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur second experience at a Bacari restaurant and first time at the Silverlake location. This is a beautiful resturaunt with outdoor seating and lovely rustic interior. Our server Dawud was attentive and efficient, had a great sense of humor and the food was delishous. We especially enjoyed the lettuce cups with shrimp and squid, and the chicken Shawarma tacos. The tacos didn't come with any hot sauce or salsa but you can ask for some. Cocktails were strong. The purple Chill Pill was outstanding. We were there for brunch but will definitely be coming back to truly their dinner menu ! Thank you Bacari!More infoBacari SilverlakePrice: Expensive• Italian• Silver Lake•4.7
- ZZackLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoWe love Bacari and have been to Silverlake, Glendale and now your location. Unfortunately there was a restaurant full of college kids out for the night and we were sat next to a giant table of young guys having fun. There was a young man at the end of a long table about 2 inches from my chair and his friends kept coming up to walk over and chat and lean over my wife and I. Definitely not a pleasant dining experience at all at first. We were able to move over to the back outside corner when a table opened and eventually the students left and it was great. Nothing against the kids being there but it just made it not so great, actually bad at first. That said, your waitstaff, host, and security were all super friendly and understanding and helpful - so, they turned a rough start into a nice evening and the food is always fantastic so that made up for it too. Had I known we'd be put in the middle back against the alley next to that big table I wouldn't have come and would rather have been told it was booked being that full. But, overall, I'm glad it worked out. My wife and I felt for the staff as they say it happens often. I think they just need to manage it a little better. Not sure what they can do but it seemed like there were lots of tables of college kids having a drink and appetizers. I didn't see full dinners unless they ate earlier. I wouldn't want them to turn business down and I'm glad the kids have a place to go, but I think the host could ask them to be seated and be respectful in the nice environment they've created. It's not a frat party after all. We'll be back as again, the staff and food made it worthwhile, but we will avoid and call in the future to make sure it's not 'college night'.More infoBacari AdamsPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.6
- AAmySan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe experience we had at Mazal was exceptional. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious and authentic—we felt like we were back in Israel. Standouts included the pita, mezze, beets, eggplant & Falafel main, and the homemade baklava and halva. We wish we lived in LA and could make this our new neighborhood haunt.More infoMazalPrice: Moderate• Vegetarian / Vegan• Echo Park•4.9
- MManuelvipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIt’s always a great experience. The menu is small, but everything is delicious. The owners are nice, and the work they put into the patio is simply amazing. It is so beautiful, and the vibe and music are fantastic.More infoZizouPrice: Expensive• Moroccan• Northeast Los Angeles•4.6
- AAlexisvipNew York City •36 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024The setting is utter magic, pool on one side, Deco fireplace on the other. The food is terrific, especially the ethereal dips (best baba ganoush ever) and veggie mezze. Service is warm and friendly. And love, love the banquette seating. Get there before the hordes find out about it.More infoDemePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.7
