- KKelseySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoGreat spot to pop in for drinks/appetizers. More of a tapas style dining experience than a full dinner entree spot, but the quality of the food and the atmosphere is worth it! Our server was extremely attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The caesar "twinkie" salad and kale salad were to die for--probably some of the best salads I've ever had. The potato gnocchi and the whipped ricotta were also incredible. For the portion size, the price is on the high end, but great spot to visit during the holidays as it's connected to La Valencia Hotel, which is magical at Christmas!More infoThe Whaling BarPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.5

- RRuthSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoCarolers were singing. They would move to different locations so all could hear them. They added a nice touch to the prime rib dinner buffet experience. We really liked the buffet style as well. Our server, Ana was amazing as always!More infoLa Gran Terraza - University of San DiegoPrice: Moderate• Californian• Mission Valley•4.7
