- CCherylPhiladelphia County •40 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEvery single course was unique and delicious! Recommendation by our server ,Sean, on how to order was spot on. He also suggested the winter Negroni drink and it was fantastic! We started with the salted beets and the hiromasa crudo both were fresh and light. We had the skate cheeks, the texture of the fish was flaky and had a bit of crunch on top. The ricotta dumplings had my mouth watering from the smell as I broke open the first dumpling. It had the perfect amount of heat and a slight smokiness that was so freaking good you want to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered the veal osso buco and raved about it. I had the orata and it was flaky and delicious. Most places that excel at the main food are not so terrific with desserts but at Bastia both the panna cota and the basque cheesecake had unique flavors that were a perfect ending. Service was incredible and allowed us to have conversation but never missed a beat on clearing and presenting the next course. We’ve been to a lot of really good restaurants but Bastia is top 3 of them all. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Philadelphia and we will choose to return to Bastia.More infoBastiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Fishtown•4.8

- JjenPhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were so pleased with our experience o Christmas Eve. They were very accommodating when we requested to move our reservation up by an hour. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our food was very well prepared, with service being attentive but not overwhelming. The sisters who served us were both lovely. The black squid I k pasta soecial had very large shrimp and tender pieces of poached lobster in a delectable cream sauce. For a new establishment, they handled the evening very well. We can't wait to go back again!More infoCapriPrice: Expensive• Italian• Philadelphia•4.7
- LLaurenVIPPhiladelphia County •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went on Christmas Eve for drinks at the bar with friends and then a 5 course prix fixe dinner for 2. Both experiences were fabulous. Quality bartender and the table service team was top notch: professionally urgent, menu advice, flexible to small adjustments, on top of clearing and packaging to go, no time holes in waiting for food or drinks, EXCELLENT FOOD. I am embarrassed I lived in Philly for 21 years before coming here. I have been missing out. Will definitely be back.More infoBistro RomanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Society Hill•4.8

We order one main dish each and a handful of mezze items and sides like beets and basmati rice and fries. The fries were good but not great and out of everything we ordered, happened to be my least favorite. King salmon was my main course and was so delicious and flavorful - there was no stopping me from finishing it. I only recently came here for happy hour and once many years ago for dinner and I have to say, it was great to be back and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.More infoSpice FinchPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Center City•4.8
