- MMarilynVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •209 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food here is a fascinating eclectic version of Mediterranean food different from what we have had before. Sauces are especially good combining savory and sweet. The Tabouleh was delicious as were the Cypriot Lamb chops. Chubby pita a great vehicle for hummous , Muhammara and Smokey yogurt. we will be back to try all the other intriguing dishes on the menu.More infoDalidaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Presidio•4.7
- RRobertVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •84 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTarla is one of very best Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay Area. The traditional dips of Hummus, Baba Ganoush, and Tzatziki, are fantastic and they buy the highest quality pita and grill it so it is warm and delicious. All of their entrees are superb. Their grilled Branzino is perfect. My favorite thing is their Turkish meatballs that are grilled and served with fried potatoes and fried kale. To my mind this is the best way to eat kale. It is transformed into a delicious crispy crunch. The staff is very friendly and professional. The Chef is a woman who often circulates in the dining room. It is a wonderful dining experience. Full bar and excellent wine list.More infoTarla Mediterranean GrillPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Napa•4.6

There is magic in everything here. i'm a professionally trained chef (in a past life) snd i'm picky so to say the food is excellent is an understatement. Service is so warm & attentive too. our christmas eve with my family (difficult mom with dementia AND a 6 year old) was made extremely special because of their love for the business which they treat like a gift.More infoSonoma Wine Shop & La BodegaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Sebastopol•4.9

- RRohanSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024Nopa is a really special place. It does everything SO well. I will start with the food. Their menu stays interesting over time with new dishes regularly introduced with the seasons and what’s seasonally available. The ingredient quality and preparation are really next level and I don’t think there is a single thing on the menu that anyone would not enjoy. The flavor of every dish is always surprising in a wonderful way with interesting combinations and textures. And plating is, of course, just beautiful. And my god, don’t just order one dish per person; share! You will be wowed. Their mainstay burger should not be missed either. If you’re into mixed drinks or wine, again, Nopa is standout. And even if you don’t drink, there are mocktails that I’m confident you’ll enjoy. Next let’s talk about the staff. Nopa has such a special and wonderful culture. Their entire staff is very well versed in the ingredients and preparation of their food. They’re also extremely kind and accommodating. There seems to be a genuine enthusiasm and shared belief that they make great food, and I would agree. They have opinions and can definitely suggest wine and beverage pairings to what you order. They know where ingredients were sourced from. And their attention to detail is also remarkable. I made a note on our reservation that we’d love a table instead of the high table if one came available and true to form, they came through. Someone took time to read the comment I had left! If you have a chance to dine here, take it. Even if you don’t have a reservation, there is a high table and bar area that may be able to accommodate a drop in. It’s a lovely atmosphere and always a joy to be a patron here. Thank you Nopa staff for the unique place you’ve created here.More infoNopa - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Californian• North Panhandle / USF•4.6
