Best Southwest American Restaurants in Louisville

GREAT SPOT WTH DECENTLY QUIET SURROUNDINGS — WE HAD A 6:30 RESERVATION AND WHEN WE ARRIVED, WE WERE NOTIFIED THAT THE KITCHEN WAS CLOSING AT 8 — THEN IT WEAS 7:30 - SO WE HURRIED TO ORDER — THEY HAD SOME ISSUE WITH THE KITCHEN — THE STAFF WAS UNDER PRESSURE TO CLEAN UP BUT THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

We really enjoyed dinner here. They were running a little behind for our reservation so they gave us yummy shots and 2 free delicious appetizers! The service was GREAT, food was AMAZING! We will be back for sure!

Good food a little under staffed , good atmosphere with minimum noise level.

The Roasted Poblano Chili / Melted Monterey Jack and Asadero Cheese / Onion / Hatch Green Chilies / Mushroom / Tomato / Red Pepper Coulis / Cilantro Rice / Black Beans / Chorizo or Shrimp and Applewood Smoked Bacon simply fabulous. Our waiter Conner A provided excellent service and perfect conversation. Very pricey but worth it for Valentine’s Day.

Had a great dinner tonight. Enjoyed the drinks like the old fashioned with woodford reserve and the cucumber margarita ( although we didn’t get the spicy chili powder). We enjoyed the pork tacos and the steak burrito. Both were cooked perfectly and had great taste. But beware the house hot sauce does have a peppery kick. Great location right on the 16th street mall
