- JJohnVIPPhiladelphia County •23 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have dined twice recently at Aleksandar, and both times everything was exquisite. The staff are welcoming and well informed. The dishes are thoughtfully conceived, beautifully presented, and scrumptious. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Highly recommended.!More infoAleksandarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Center City•4.5

- LLindaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoALLORA is a Must-Try! My family’s visit to ALLORA Italian Restaurant was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We started with appetizers that were out of this world—an amazing way to begin the meal. Our server, Laura, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The highlight of our meal was the fresh pasta. You could immediately tell it was made in-house—it was cooked to perfection and paired with rich, flavorful sauces and proteins. Every bite was incredible. The support staff also did a phenomenal job. They kept everything running smoothly, refilling drinks and clearing plates seamlessly. ALLORA is everything you’d want in an Italian restaurant: amazing food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and will definitely recommend it to friends. Highly recommend!More infoAllora by Da SoliPrice: Moderate• Italian• Marlton•4.7
- MMichaelHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoSome excellent dishes served to the four of us. The portions are generous and of quality. One appetizer, the fried calamari, was neither crisp nor hot, so we hope they can bring it out of the kitchen quicker. The four main courses including the fish special demonstrated an excellent chef. All of the deserts were Diner quality and need to be reimagined. Cold crème brûlée? We will be back and hope they take the few needed steps to become a designation restaurant.More infoOsteria Ama PhillyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Center City•4.6
- CChrissyVirginia •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress came over within 2 minutes of us sitting down (hadn’t had a chance to select drinks or food) and brought water. We don’t see her again for another 10 or so minutes. After ordering, we waited another 10 minutes for my drink and had to request my husbands drink again. The lavender martini was delicious but tasted heavy on the orange with little lavender to taste. We ordered wood fired pizzas (sausage/pepperoni and the short rib). They were both tasty but each slide of the short rib pizza had about 1 bite of short rib…was heavy on the mushroom and onion. I suggested the chef spread the love of the short rib more throughout the pizza. We did list that we were celebrating our birthdays but there was no recognition of it (not even a Happy Birthday upon arrival)…not sure what the point was of listing this. Overall, the experience was ok but for $70, wouldn’t say it was entirely worth it.More infoLaScala's Fire-University CityPrice: Moderate• Italian• University City•4.5
