- SStamatiNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoFood was fantastic, awesome vibe, the live piano band was great, my only complaint: as the great Jerry Seinfeld would say “they know how to take the reservation; but they don’t how to hold the reservation”, they definitely gave my 7pm reservation table away and we had to wait 45 min extra to be seated (that’s not acceptable) …plus after graciously waiting they seated me in back room where’s there’s no atmosphere (make sure you request main dining room where all the energy is)…once again, it happens nothing is perfect, but you would think that after making me wait 45 minutes they would at least have the courtesy to give me a good table or comp me a drink, but nothing…waitress has great, but front of the house needs work.More infoEddie V's - ParamusPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Rochelle Park•4.8
- JJohnVIPBaltimore / Maryland •71 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025This is really quite a good restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised given the all the usual issues associated with pre-theater dining in the Times Square district. The reservation was honored immediately with no line or waiting, and the seating, though close, was not cramped as it is in some of the Lincoln Center restaurants. The service was outstanding. There was no rush, the courses were spaced nicely. A house cocktail was actually unique and interesting. The tuna & avocado appetizer was exceptional and generous. Oyster selection was reasonable and very fresh. The salmon with celery root puree was very tasty, and the cod with mussels is actually a very interesting and spicy sort of bouillabaisse, outstanding. Portion sizes were ample. We were seated at 5:25 and had plenty of time to get to our 7PM show. We will definitely make this one of our go to places for future Broadway pre-show dinners.More infoMermaid Oyster Bar - Times SquarePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Theater District•4.6

- MMatthewNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Love our meal at strange delight. The room is surprisingly beautiful. The cocktails were very well-made. And the dishes we tried were wonderful. Prices are definitely high, the gin ramos fizz is $10 more than when it was reviewed in August, but I would return. The food, drinks and ambulance were wonderful.More infoStrange DelightPrice: Expensive• Oyster Bar• Fort Greene•4.8
