- JjimVIPChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoVery nice atmosphere with pleasant ambiance that my two daughters enjoyed for a afternoon lunch. The food selection provided a good variety of choices from breakfast to hot plate selections to sandwiches. The prices were really reasonable and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits the Georgetown area. A very SPECIAL THANKS to our server Mr. WILSON. He was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!More infoPeacock CaféPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Georgetown•4.8
- JJacobWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoTruly one of the best dinners we've ever had. We went as a couple for Valentines' Day. We haven't had much Persian food before, so didn't know what to expect, but this blew us away. The eggplant was incredible, as was the chicken (comes with incredible horseradish-pickled onions and rice)! The drinks were also delicious (the vodka/lemon/lavender one was particularly good). We met the owner, Yahya, at the end of the meal and he was incredibly gracious and welcoming. We will be returning and bringing our family here when they are in town. So delicious!More infoKookoo Restaurant and LoungePrice: Moderate• Persian• Washington•4.6
- DDanteVIPGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThere was a slight delay with seating the reservations. Based on overhearing the communication between the hostess and other staff, it seemed to be largely due to the inexperience of the waiting staff. However, I attribute most of it due to the holiday, Valentine’s Day. It Can feel a little tight as they’ve maximized the use of all available space to seat patrons, so if you get a little claustrophobic, you may want to consider dining at a time that isn’t busy. Overall great value and great experience, especially for the Washington DC area. The only recommendation I would make to Rumi’s Kitchen would be to broaden your selection of wines by the glass. At the price point of your bottles of wine, it makes it a little difficult for some patrons to commit to making the purchase of a bottle. Thanks for the good time!More infoRumi's Kitchen - DCPrice: Expensive• Persian• Mount Vernon Square•4.8
