- ARAnnaRSacramento / Sacramento Valley •24 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024This was our first time at Cayao. The restaurant was very beautiful. Our server Aime was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive to service. The food was another level… we had the edamame to start with(which let me tell you was incredible. Nothing like we had ever had before. Not your ordinary edamame for sure) the flavor was a 10+. Next we had the chef’s sashimi sample. 12 pieces of fish presented in a beautiful display .. it looked like a flower garden. The fish was so fresh and delicious. For our dinner we had the catch of the day. The miso glaze on the fish was to die for and the side we chose was a rice.. but of course not your ordinary fried rice.. it had such an intense flavor and it had a over easy egg on top to mix into it. It was our anniversary so they presented us with 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate. We thought that was so thoughtful. The staff was so nice. Met the director of the hotel restaurants and the head chef. Both came to our table to introduce themselves.. a very nice touch that you may not get at all the restaurants in Cabo. I would highly recommend this restaurant!! We loved it so much, that se will be going there again Sunday night.More infoCayao by Chef Richard SandovalPrice: Very Expensive• International• Cabo San Lucas•4.9
- NnaomiSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024Second time visiting this restaurant in our trip to Cabo San Lucas. Tonight my husband had tortilla soup again and shrimp tacos. I had the sweet corn soup which was a little thinner than a chowder, but delish and a shrimp and flank steak taco and a pork taco. Everything was fabulous again! Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting the area. More infoLatino 8Price: Expensive• Latin American• San José del Cabo•4.8
