- JJoshuaCaribbean •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoPedro was our server and he was great, going over all the ingredients in dishes we had questions on. The food was some of the best we've had in Puerto Rico and artistically displayed. Save room for some amazing desserts. Bring cash to tip your servers. As a former restaurant worker, this is highly appreciated by servers. The ambience is very nice and we had a great view in a corner table overlooking the golf course. Every person we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. Tip: if it's your first time staying at Rio Mar, (It was our first stay at Ocean Villas) you can grab a shuttle at the Lobby level floor, just outside the front doors. Returning shuttles stop at Iguanas every 10-15 minutes to bring you back. (Don't forget to tip your hard working shuttle drivers) Definitely worth a stop at this lovely restaurant if you're staying at Rio Mar.More infoIGUANAS COCINA PUERTORRIQUENA – Wyndham Rio MarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.7
- DDebVIPWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been in PR for a week, and I am so glad this was our final dinner here at the resort. We had the alcapurrias as a starter, and I usually eat one of three when we have three of something. I took my extra half this time. Then we had the Caribbean Sampler - a great choice! For dessert we had the CUATRO leches cake. Our drinks were fabulous too. The staff were great.More infoNéctarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.5
- JJoshNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024I’ll keep this short and sweet. The food was excellent (pan fried red snapper as main course-order this, it was amazing). Restaurant was nice, hostess polite, etc… all the things you would expect. However, our server,Jose was phenomenal.!A polite gentleman, personable, knowledgeable about the dishes, good recommendations. I can’t share enough accolades about this guy. Caña, take notice and recognize him. He is the sole reason I am sharing this review with your prospective diners.More infoCAÑA - Fairmont El San Juan HotelPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Isla Verde / Carolina•4.3
- TTomKey West / Florida Keys •14 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024The "Grand Thanksgiving Buffet" offered a wide variety of tasty foods. From fresh shrimp & sushi to traditional turkey & gravy, all was delicious. The setting was wonderful including fresh flowers on all the tables, live music by a talented violinist, & attentive table service by Jacob. The bottle of Veuve Clicquot 🥂champagne (half priced) was the proverbial 🍒 on top.More infoMARBELLA - Wyndham Grand Rio MarPrice: Expensive• Breakfast• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.2
