- GgeorgeVIPPhiladelphia County •57 reviews5.0Dined todayWe continually say that we believe Blackfish is the best restaurant outside of center city and can go head to head with most any. The lady had the oysters - the lemon 'foam' on top, oysters in the shell but 'free' so that you can just slide them in right from the shell leaving the foam in tact, were fresh and delightful. She followed that with the wild mushroom ravioli. Toasted home panko breadcrumbs and delightful sauce, all rich with mushroom flavor was also wonderful. I had the scallop more or less ceviche-type appetizer with thin scallop and radish slices in a marvelous orange and citrus sauce, finely diced onion and cucumber and fresh herbs - it was the best appetizer I have had there and I love the smoke salmon and quail egg and the brussels sprout salad (don't laugh until you have one - they too are delicious). I had the duck breast. Butternut squash, some home-made cranberry relish, another puree of something that was rich and tasty along with a brown a-jus gravy. It was really good. I could only eat half of it - quite large, but wonderful flavors. Blackfish continues to be at the top of our favorites list! Not to be missed. - VValerieVIPPhiladelphia County •58 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my first holiday dining out since I lost my mother who was my every holiday expert cook and host. At Sullivan’s Steakhouse, I received outstanding service, and I had an excellent dining experience. My server Maurice was thorough and provided me and my guest with a superior level of personalized service. The food was prepared as requested, seasoned well and five stars delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was at a good holiday celebration noise level. And the few children I observed as present were well mannered and dressed nicely for the occasion. The manager Michael Pons Jr. was hands-on and very attentive to his restaurant guests. He made me feel like a valued customer. I left Sullivan’s Steakhouse feeling fantastic, so much so, that before turning in that night I made reservations for New Year’s Eve dining.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - King of PrussiaPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• King of Prussia•4.2
- IIanVIPNew York City •445 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had an absolutely phenomenal Christmas Eve dinner at our all-time favorite restaurant Eddie V's in King of Prussia. We lucked out "big-time" and got our favorite server ever Alaina for the evening. She gave us such a warm greeting with that very beautiful smile of hers and that just got the evening off to a great start. The Lobster tacos & Caesar salad were delicious and a great way to start off our dinner. the fillet topped with crab meat, lemon sole, rack of lamb and strip steak were all plated & cooked to perfection as usual, something we've come to expect at this wonderful restaurant. The lemon tart was a yummy dessert including the banana bananas foster which was compliments of our very elegant server Alaina. It was very nice that the manager came over to check on us and make sure everything was OK which of course it was. He even assisted our guest at the time of payment with an issue with the gift card which he resolved immediately. Thank you for that. Quite honestly, and no surprise here, what made our evening so much fun was Alaina with her awesome sense of humor. Every time I thought I got a dig at her, she outsmarted me with an even better one right back at myself, that made the evening even more fun. I'm going to have to really sharpen my claws the next time I see her 😂 THANK YOU (as always) ALAINA for making our dinners at Eddie V's so much fun and so memorable. I understand that Allie is back and so a special hello to her from us. Merry Christmas to all !!!More infoEddie V's - King Of PrussiaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• King of Prussia•4.9
