- DDarrenGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoIncredible incredible incredible! Chef Monaco was a great host, entertainer, and obviously, a great chef. We came in a little before seating and he welcomed us in while he prepared the fish. He was very fun to talk to and the way he walked us through each course made this a truly educational and fulfilling experience. Furthermore, the creativity on some of the courses pushed the limit of my understanding of omakase and even fine dining. The cherry on top was that when my girlfriend covered herself with her shawl, Chef Monaco turned the thermostat up, showing a true care for his diners. This place is truly a gem with extremely accessible parking (huge parking lot behind the CVS) and while I’d love to gatekeep, everyone should go and try Akem. Extremely worth it! Great food, great vibes, and a great guy behind the counter.More infoAkame Nigiri and SakePrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Lexington•5
- JJohnVIPGreater Boston •71 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were seated on time, and the decor was lovely. We started with a fresh salad, and we enjoyed a glass of wine that was a current special called Adaptation. The wine selection was wonderful. The steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We shared buttery whipped potatoes and glazed carrots. Excellent service. For us, this is a special occasion restaurant, and it was superb!More infoEddie V's - BurlingtonPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Burlington•4.9

- JJimGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024We drove from Worcester to have Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky in Burlington after discovering that every (every) nice/high-end restaurant in Worcester ("we're the second largest city in New England!") was closed on December 24. The drive was well worth it as we discovered a wonderful new place for high-end dining: Smith & Wollensky! As noted in our star ratings, the food was top notch, as was the service and ambiance. Furthermore, even the noise level was decidedly low, which allowed for pleasant conversation -- a huge plus for my wife, who is very hard of hearing (even with two cochlear implants) and a big, big difference from any of the big-name restaurants in Worcester. All-in-all, having Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky was a treat for us, no matter how you look at it. We will definitely return and we recommend that you go there, too!More infoSmith & Wollensky - BurlingtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Burlington•4.4
