Best Seafood Restaurants in Middletown

Tonight we dined at Ruth Chris for Valentine’s Day with Casey as our server. She was a consummate professional. She was friendly and amicable. Obviously engaged in our enjoyment of our meal. We have never had anything but exceptional meals at Ruth Chris. It is our go to for special occasions!

My partner and I dined here for Valentines Day, and we were very happy with the experience. The staff was so polite and considerate and I could tell they were very busy. They still made time for us to feel special. We sat at the bar as we waited for our table, and the bar staff even brought us our check without having to ask for it. The waitress was Fantastic and made amazing recommendations. And the food was top notch’s. Such a lovely evening and thank you for creating such a memorable experience.

From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left, we were treated with the most care and consideration. A fresh long stem rose for me. Seated by the fireplace it seemed like a very special evening was in store.. The menu was well planned and balanced just the right amount of food and the presentation was impeccable. Servers were professional and friendly, and our rep part with all of them was just right. The fillet was amazing and cooked to perfection and the shrimp and clams casino were also very good Dessert was an amazing heart-shaped, layered chocolate vanilla concoction ….out of this world. Definitely will come back and try other evenings, including the live music, which was just a nice addition to the evening.

An absolute exquisite dining experience with incredible service, fine wines, and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant! Is the only place that I go where I never put anything on the steak. No salt or pepper or anything. The way it is seasoned and the way it comes is perfect every time. I’ve been going to J. Gilbert for 25 years and it’s amazing that I’ve never had to send anything back to the kitchen. They are so careful in their preparation and so precise. Such high-quality food. It’s also the restaurant I go to for every one of my birthdays!

This is a great restaurant with an old Cape Cod feel. That’s why I love going there regularly. We had a quiet table in the back and the food is absolutely exquisite. Everything is from scratch and they will customize anything for you. I had blackened salmon and my friend had stuffed fillet of sole. The wine was excellent, and our server was fantastic. Always a wonderful experience to be there.
