It’s very exclusive but very beach casual which makes it so comfortable. Great service every time we go there. They don’t serve the main course until you are ready…this is such an exception to most restaurants around town that are pushing you to finish and move on. All around thumbs up!!!More infoJake's Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.8
- AAdamVIPSan Diego •61 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad a lovely time; first time sitting inside, which was a great choice considering the weather was so windy and rainy. Had three apps first; Little Neck clams were fantastic, as was Baked Brie and coconut shrimp. Always eat the Brie first when it arrives at the table; as it will stay warm and melted to the end; then move on to the shrimp and clams last. Main courses of Surf and Turf plus a NY steak were also great. This was a tremendous 25th anniversary dinner.More infoPoseidonPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Del Mar•4.8
- CCurtisVIPSan Diego •125 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been going to Ruth's Chris in Del Mar for the past 24 years. And, we are so pleased that it is now back thriving again. Last night (Valentine's Day), we sat in the bar for cocktails, appetizers and then ordered carryout. Anthony was our server and, as always, he was pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and paid great attention to detail. The martini's were perfect, bbq shrimp app was spot on and our takeout (seabass, crab cakes, salad and chocolate cake) were all packed perfectly and tasted wonderful. Thanks to Anthony, Jaime and the rest of the crew for a wonderful evening.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.6

I’m a vegetarian and even though Pacifica seems to focus on seafood, their vegetarian options have been creative and delicious every time. Extensive wine selection too, with half-price bottles on Thursdays, it’s a great value.More infoPacifica Del MarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Del Mar•4.5
- EEliseSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoAbsolutely outstanding!! My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, it was our first time dining here and we were floored. Our server, Jillian, guided us through the menu and gave us amazing recommendations! From the 1st course to the last, she made everything special. We ended with a small beignet tree and the house made cookies, along with a super thoughtful anniversary card. Yes it is pricey, but so worth it. The food, service, and ambience were beyond exemplary. Thank you Jillian and Steak 48!More infoSteak 48 - Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.9
