What a great dining experience! One of the best holiday meals I’ve ever had.

Love this restaurant! The service is outstanding, it is bright and cheerful inside and the food is great. We had four for lunch and all of our meals were prepared to perfection. I had the catch of the day sandwich which happened to be halibut. I chose the fries over the salad as my side and the fries were just as I like them, crispy of the outside and soft on the inside. My friends had fish and chips, oysters, caesar salad and baja fish tacos. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great evening with friends made even better by the service provided by Kay. She was delightful. She didn’t rush us and enabled us to catch up with our friends. She lit up the table every time she came by. The food was awesome and Kay’s service is why, The Brigantine, is our “go to” casual dining restaurant in San Diego. This is a hidden gem of exquisite food. Consistently proving to be one of the best culinary experiences in North County. Seasonal flavors, and menu options are always a pleasant surprise. Wine suggestions and list are also excellent. Service is perfect, but not stuffy - very friendly. You will not be disappointed if you are a foodie!

What can I say? This is easily one of the best happy hour spots in San Diego! The ambiance is stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely incredible. We had yet another fantastic experience here, this time for an early dinner to celebrate my kid’s birthday. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the Japanese sweet potatoes are a must-try, the fish and chips were amazing—so fresh and moist—and the clam chowder was perfection. The smoked trout dip wasn’t my favorite this time, but it was still a solid appetizer. Our server, Mike, was exceptional—attentive, polite, and spot-on with his food recommendations. We’ll definitely be back, and if you’ve never been to this place, make a reservation now. You can thank me later!
