Joe's never disappoints. The stone crab claws are always delicious. The salads--beet root and chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, and feta--were excellent and large-sized (shareable). And the crab cakes were all crab and the tuna perfectly cooked and plentiful. The service is attentive, but not intrusive, and very helpful in making menu decisions. And the ambience is nice--the tables and booths are nicely spaced so that, even when Joe's is crowded, which is all the times we have been there, it is possible for two people to have a conversation without having to yell across the table at each other. Joe's is on our regular rota of Chicago restos--pricey but worth the cost.

I recommend the RPM chopped salad, the oysters, the grilled octopus, the clam chowder soup and the filet. It was AMAZING! I apologize in advance I forgot our servers name, she remembered all my notes I put and explained the menu with details. She made it very special! Exactly what I wanted for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner! She was a pretty blonde girl, she’s wonderful! If anyone can give me her name I would love to recommend her to my friends if they want to dine here!

Jessica was our server, and she was fantastic! The berries and bubbles cocktail (super fun drink) and the old fashioned were both great! We started with the crab cake appetizer and ordered the lobster linguine and salmon for our main courses - all of which were very good. For dessert, we went with the chocolate torte - amazing!! Definitely on the pricey side, but for a special evening, well worth the price tag.

This restaurant though pricy is well worth the money. Had Christmas dinner there with a variety of food and heard no complaints from anyone. Wait staff very nice and willing to please.
