- AAshleyVirginia •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our second visit here. Both times we came in for celebrating our anniversary. We were quickly sat and had a better table than last visit. The host wished us a happy anniversary so right off the first few minutes were great. Our server took a moment to get to greet us. Took so long we decided our drink, app and dinner probably 4-5 mins. He did seem warm and welcoming when approaching us. Didn't mention our anniversary to us once all night. Drinks took way to long to come out. We were half way through our app when arrived. Dinner came out right after our drinks showed up. Dinner was really good though despite that. Filet medallions and shrimp for me. Medallions and tuna for my husband. Tuna was not asked a temp which is odd but he still ate it anyways. Usually he gets med. Was raw raw! Sauce with it was good! Our server had a ten top beside us so it took up a lot of his time. My husband was finished before me and was asked to take his plate which normally don't get token away until both parties are finished. Just a sign of no rushing. He asked if I was done with the bit of app that was left and as I begin to say no I'll box it with my food he says nothing and leaves the table before I finished my sentence. I was confused. Finally asked for another drink which I wanted another one before dinner was done and a box. He gives me a box and doesn't ask to box it for me. That's OK if your busy. But having two tables I'm like over it. I always tip a decent amount especially on an occasion. I have been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and also a foodie so I appreciate the small things. Was okay for us just ok this time.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Virginia Beach, VAPrice: Moderate• American• Virginia Beach•4.6

The service was good. Everything we ordered was seasoned and cooked perfectly and we ordered a lot! 3 appetizers, a salad, 3 Entrees and 2 rounds of their crafted cocktails. Only downside to the evening was the ridiculous amount of TAX! There are 4 seperate Taxes… on the food and drinks even before we added in our 20% tip for our server! The taxes they charge are excessive! We have been to lots of upscale places in the area and never encountered such high taxes. However we had an amazing time!More infoOrion's Roof Garden & DiningPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Virginia Beach•4.6

The server helped us choose a delicious reasonably priced bottle of wine. We highly recommend Yiannis. The atmosphere is as casual or dressy as you would like. Intimate bar area. Plenty of parking! We will definitely plan another visit soon.More infoYiannis Wine and FoodPrice: Very Expensive• Wine Bar• Virginia Beach•4.8
