- SSarahHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI’ve been to Mala many times tho usually for dinner. My most memorable time was before the Lahaina fire when we had sunset pupus and dinner, watched the sunrise and the moonrise along with all the charm of Lahaina boats, surfers, and fishing vessels. Thank goodness Mala is still here and remains a treasured piece of our beloved Lahaina and Front Street. Brunch did not disappoint! Service was impeccable with even the manager stopping by our table to say hello. My friends visiting from Portland for their 60th Anniversary were charmed. This restaurant in West Maui is our go-to spot for both dinner and lunch, thanks to its charming ambiance and the island’s best sunset view. The nightly live Hawaiian music adds to the romantic evening outing for us. Here are some of the menu highlights and recommendations but you cannot go wrong with whatever you decide to eat there. They are all so delicious. Early Bird Dinner Specials: Available from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, featuring a salad, a main dish (choose from Mac Nut Hawaiian fish, Filet Mignon, or Sea House scampi), and a Tiramisu dessert, all for just $44. Reservations for 5:30 PM or 5:45 PM are essential as these spots fill up fast. Daily Dinner Specials: Including Lobster dinner on Tuesdays, my husband's favorite, and he thinks it is the best lobster dinner he has had. Although these specials don't come with salad or dessert, they are reasonably priced and packed with flavor. Other entrée options feature locally sourced fish and vegetarian dishes. Lunch Menu: Offers a variety of locally inspired dishes. My top pick is the Chicken Papaya Salad, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any choice. We have never tried their breakfast as we are not heavy breakfast eaters, but they have nice variety of breakfast staples with local flavors. Beyond the food, the friendly and knowledgeable servers elevate the dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting West Maui.More infoSea House Restaurant at Napili Kai Beach ResortPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Lahaina•4.6
- DDeniseDenver / Colorado •4 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe had the calamari for an appetizer. It was good but a little heavy on the breading. I had ono prepared with a sweet and sour sauce and pineapple and green peppers. The concept was good, but the sauce was overpowering and too much for the fish. Perhaps having the sauce on the side or way less of it would enhance the fish flavor rather than drown it. Our server was attentive and prompt.More infoTante's Fish MarketPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Wailuku•4.2
