- BBarbaraNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI am so happy that I selected Sugar Bar to take my friends to eat with me. First, the place is cozy and intimate and very clean. Second, the staff that checked my cost, served our food and created our mixed alcoholic drinks were cordial, joyful, attentive and professional. Third, the prices were moderately priced for such grand tasty food in an upscale neighborhood. We will return here to watching and listen to their live music. Thank you Sugar Bay for a marvelous evening. I appreciate the staff including the chef (s). Happy New Year.More infoSugar BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Upper West Side•4.6
- DDariaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat service , cool comfortable seating. Food was overall very good. Rice in rice and peas was a little hard but green and sweet plantains were great. Chicken was flavorful and moist!!! Rasta Pasta was great and made slightly mild upon request! Let's not forget the yummy fried shrimp small plate and the jerk chicken tacos. For a carribean palate could have had a little more spice but yummy nonetheless.... 2 reasons hesitant to go back are small amount of seating so hard to get in and a little pricey but we will be back.
