Best Southern American Restaurants in Colonial Williamsburg

This was a grand dining experience. The Food was delicious and hot. My server, Sean, was exemplary. Very nice time at Lemaire.

When we arrived, our table was ready, and the server came over quickly. Server was professional and friendly, but left us alone enough to talk. Water glasses were kept full and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious.

The service was outstanding, the food delicious (seafood quesadilla - must have seafood when you dine here!), the colonial ambiance adds to the experience as Berret's restaurant is located near the College of William & Mary and Market Square in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you love oysters, this is the place to dine. Heads up: make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant for visitors and locals.

We ate in the bar which is a little less formal than the main. Dining room. Service was great and food was excellent. I try and visit once a week. Bring some friends. Be sure to make a reservation on open table

Private Party event in the lobby, made it very crowded and loud. The inside of the restaurant was quieter. Service was good, a little slow with the dinner rush and crowd. But very friendly. Lobster roll was delish, lots of lobster meat. However lost points for the butternut squash fettuccine. It was bland, no taste, dry, not enough sauce for the noodles. Do not recommend. We loved the crab dip for appetizer and the lobster roll. Ambiance was full of holiday magic!
