- CChristopherCincinnati / Dayton •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoVery nice place. We were a little on the fence with it being in a hotel but they did really well with ambience, food and service. Very busy making service a little slow but not so slow that it was an issue. It was Valentine’s Day after all. Still I would go back and refer it to friends and family.More infoCharr'd Bourbon Kitchen & LoungePrice: Expensive• American• Jeffersontown•4.2
- JJosephCentral Kentucky •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I enjoyed Valentine's Day dinner at The Village Anchor and were seated in the covered patio area below. The food was great but a little pricey. French Onion Soup could have been hotter and we found a lack of saltiness to everything but not terrible. The wine was reasonable and they didn't try to upsell. The dessert was huge - really enjoyed that. Friendly staff top to bottom. I had trouble finding reservations for V-Day and this place was busy but not packed at all. The lighting in the covered porch area did not at all reflect a fine dining experience, though - which killed a bit of the ambiance despite the cute Valentine's decor. Overall a good experience and we'll return if I have an extra $200 but for that kind of money I know we could do better. I look forward to brunch as their menu promises a variety of great looking option.More infoThe Village AnchorPrice: Moderate• American• Anchorage•4.6
