From the moment we walked in the door every employee wished him a Happy Birthday. Very nice touch. The food was delicious and did not disappoint. We all enjoyed filet mignon and it was flavorful and very tender. Lobster bisque amazing! Salads as well. Mashed potatoes looked good but a little thin- but appeared no complaints from the other couple. Our twice baked potato good. The service was outstanding with Connor and the various assistants. Cat and Randy, their son & daughter in law, and Steve make up the family. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive. Each time, our selections were delicious, served hot when appropriate, and the portions are ample. Desserts!!! Oh my, they are a must try. Modern is our most favorite restaurant for lunch. Music is pleasant - and not blasting, thumping loud. The atmosphere is subdued and relaxing.
