Best Steak Restaurants in Lakewood

This was my wife's and my first experience at Ocean Prime and we could not speak more positively about the experience. Robert, the restaurant manager, gave us the sweet assist upstairs. Then we were fortunate to be matched with our server, Tim, who painted a Monet-style painting with his words when walking us through the menu. Large portions, the ability to halve sides, great cocktails - top-notch across the board. I ordered the 10 oz Filet Mignon and it was the best steak I've had all year, bar none. A Memorable Experience at Guard and Grace From the moment we walked through the door, Guard and Grace exceeded all expectations. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was nothing short of stellar. A special thank you to Pedro and Jennie at the host stand for greeting us with such warmth and making us feel immediately at home. Our server, Samantha B., truly went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. This visit was a celebration of a special family occasion, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to share such a moment with our loved ones. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff made the evening unforgettable. While it’s not uncommon for Michelin-caliber restaurants to have General Managers and chefs visit tables, the personal touch from Justyn, the General Manager, was particularly meaningful. His kind words and thoughtful gesture of a complimentary appetizer made the evening even more special, especially as we celebrated my mom’s birthday. The music selection, featuring nostalgic 1980s Pop Classics and Top 40s hits, added to the positive, vibrant atmosphere, making the experience feel all the more memorable. The steaks were awesome. All the sides were delicious. My wife and I celebrated her birthday and it was a very classy ambiance! Our server Aimee was one of the best one could ask for. Her knowledge of food options, personality of making sure we had fun, and being super fast. Highly recommend to all.

Wonderful from beginning to end! Our prime rib was perfect. It came with green beans which wasn't stated anywhere so we ordered asparagus, we wouldn't have ordered the extra veggie if we had known but that was an ok problem to have.
