- JJoelleVIPSan Diego •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely new years brunch (though I do wish they actually served brunch fare). Everything was very delicious! The service, while very friendly and accommodating, got a little slow toward the end as it got busier, which is understandable. It would’ve been okay except we were in a booth that was one of two they have for parties of six but maybe six short, slim people? Pretty uncomfortable, especially in that corner spot, I spent the whole meal with my arms up over the back of the booth. I’m chubby but the rest of my party were regular sized men and one slim woman and we all felt squashed. But otherwise, a beautiful meal on a lovely day.More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- TTiffanySan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTop tier experience! I made a reservation via OpenTable to celebrate an anniversary. We were seated fairly quickly and our table was decorated with a Happy Anniversary card. The waiter was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. For our app, we opted for the crab cakes with red bell pepper sauce. The crab is the star of this appetizer--no overbreading or miscellaneous ingredients to fill the crab cake up. Plain, simple, and delicious. Also, the complimentary dinner rolls came with a whipped smoked cheddar spread and champagne Brie. Both had the softest, velvet-like texture. For entree and sides, my partner and I shared the 35oz tomahawk, the roasted sweet potatoes, and lobster Mac n cheese. Probably one of the best steaks I've eaten due to cut and preparation. Simple ingredients with bold flavor and great technique. The lobster Mac was so good and the roasted sweet potatoes had great flavor profiles. We were too full for dessert, so our waiter gave us complimentary champagne and chocolate truffles. Very pleased with the whole experience. Thank you for a great night to celebrate an anniversary!More infoFleming's Steakhouse - San DiegoPrice: Expensive• Steak• Downtown•4.7

We were a tad skeptical with the options of apps and sides but absolutely everything was top notch and we loved our dining experience. - RRobVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •96 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoBest French onion soup in California, just fantastic. Excellent roast duck breast in huckleberry sauce with Swiss chard gratin, tremendous. Seafood cannelloni overpowered by tarragon, the herb not mentioned in the menu description — in a sign of truly great service, when my wife could not eat it the restaurant offered an alternative and did not charge for the dish. Truly superb Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. Good wine list w mix of French and California wines. This is a great restaurant! More infoEt Voilà!
