The staff taking our name and letting us know our table was ready were incredible. Very professional and helpful. Our drinks were excellent! I as concerned there would be limited options in Thanksgiving. There were plenty of options. We ordered from the price fix menu. The mixed green salad with feta, pine nuts and a balsamic dressing was divine . The lobster bisque was perfect and our main courses consisted of center cut filet, crab cakes and miso glazed sea bass. All were excellent! And then desert! Too much food. We had debated about going out for a nice dinner with all the other food activities we had this weekend. We are so glad we did. It was an amazing food experience, our waitress was great and it made for a memorable experience with good friends. We are KC natives who moved to Nashville and I can't say I've had food this good there. We'll be back. 😍More infoBristol Seafood + Steak + SocialPrice: Expensive• Seafood• KC Power & Light District•4.7

I made a note on our Open Table reservation (that I made 30 minutes ahead of time) that it was our anniversary. The staff was so sweet, placing a card and rose petals on the table. Our server even took a photo of us with her phone and returned with a framed photo for us to keep. And they provided us with a complimentary dessert. What a nice treat! My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye and I ordered the 8oz filet -both were perfect. Creamed spinach was also very good.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - LeawoodPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Leawood•4.4

I had the Kansas City strip; it was juicy and very flavorful; one of the best steaks I've ever had. My wife had the crab cakes and loved them. Only one downside in the whole meal; the crab bisque soup was just too salty! I should have sent it back. The desserts were very tasty and presented so nicely. I had the chocolate fudge cake; it was soooo good! Service was impecable! We will definitely be back to J Gilbert's.More infoJ. - RRobinLas Vegas •14 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe truly enjoyed our dining experience in the Jazz room at the Majestic! The oysters- excellent, the prime rib- awesome, the baked potato HUGE, the only minor thing was the Waygu steak my husband had was a little sub par. The Jazz combo was great! Finally our waiter-Mickey was super attentive and helpful! The ambiance of this restaurant is amazing! We would definitely recommend and eat here again when in KC!More infoThe Majestic RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / River Market•4.7
