Best Steak Restaurants in Pompano Beach

I have been eating here for 30 years. We came down to get on a ship and I had to stop by. The ambiance is rustic but high end, the views on the ocean are fantastic. We had a wonderful waitress that deserves 6 not 5 starts. We had brunch, I ordered the conch fritters and another app. My husband had their Lobster Bisque which was delicious, try these two apps, they are delicious. Brunch had a menu with brunchie items like lobster benedict also classic eggs Benny. There was a lunch selection of various fish and sandwiches with popular fish. I wanted to finish with a Key Lime Pie but I was full. They had fresh bread, pumpernickel and a whole wheat hard crust fresh bread and frozen butter. You can't go wrong here.

My husband and I have dined at Le Bistro since first moving to South Florida 3 years ago. The food and service have been consistently outstanding. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Our server was excellent and knew the menu really well. I had the shellfish over homemade linguine and my husband had ricotta gnocchi in their evening’s specialty sauce. I am Italian and we are from New Jersey, where we have great Italian restaurants. This place is on par or better than what we are used to up North. Excellent place!!

Christmas dinner at Mastro’s was fantastic. The food, as always is amazing…perfectly seasoned and presented. They serve love on a plate at Mastro’s! The staff is always warm and welcoming when I return. Preston, the manager stopped by the table to insure everything was satisfactory. David & Steve were very gracious in greeting us. Stefan provided excellent service throughout the evening. It is a pleasurable experience dining at Mastro’s each and every time. I can’t wait to return!

Our Christmas Eve/birthday dinner was an exceptional treat for this party of 4. We made reservations for 7pm and were promptly seated. The ambiance is old time local family Italian American style- just the atmosphere that I was looking to share with my best friend and our two sons; neither of whom had ever experienced the magical “Feast of the Seven Fishes”, which Anthony’s was featuring this day (they also featured several non-fish and vegetarian dishes if you can’t or don’t like seafood/shellfish) Bread and dipping oils/butter were placed and quickly devoured by the crew. We ordered various appetizers including the fried calamari with a side cup of sauce and roasted grape tomatoes, buratta cheese with prosciutto, Caesar salad, beet and orange salad. Our entrees were varied , with a delicious pork ossobuco with rigatoni , beautifully braised and season; grouper francese with penne in lieu of the asparagus and mashed potatoes that were the sides; fiocchi alla carbonara (pear and cheese “purses” similar to small ravioli with a creamy carbonara. All delicious and warm. Desserts? Cannoli, lava cake with vanilla ice cream (like a deconstructed tortoni), amaretto di Saronno , and crème brûlée. Interestingly enough , no one selected the feast fish, which consisted of clams, mussels, mahi, shrimp, crab, lobster bits and scallops . I am in love with neighborhood mom and pops.
