The Cooperage was very busy when we arrived with many waiting for tables. We were seated promptly for our reservation and the noise level was pretty high with the restaurant full and the pull-down doors closed due to weather. Service was friendly but there were gaps in attention at times. We were not in a hurry, but our entrée orders was not taken until after we had finished eating our appetizers and it took a long time for our entrees to arrive compared to tables around ours. I am sure the busy night with a full house was a factor. Food was great, appetizers tuna tartare and brussels sprouts, entrees steak frites, fried chicken, ahi sandwich, and short ribs. The group enjoyed craft cocktails, wine and draft beer. Look forward to our next visit.

We celebrated a special birthday here, and the food, ambiance, and staff did not disappoint. Make sure you come with a hearty appetite. This place is a wonderful addition to the restaurant selection at Bay Street. Look no further. If you're a meat eater, don't hesitate to make your reservation today. If you're lucky, Micahela will be your server. She was great!
