Best Steakhouses in Tuscumbia

The appetizer (Fried Green Tomatoes with andouille cream sauce and cheese grits) was delicious. Fresh, the cream sauce was perfect and the grits had a nice texture and cheesy flavor. My date had the 9 oz filet, ordered medium with the brussel sprouts. The flavor on the filet was perfect but it was cooked to medium rare at best, possibly rare. The Brussels sprouts were perfect. I had the 10oz sirloin, ordered medium rare. It was rare, which I didn't mind. I know sirloin can be a tougher, leaner cut but even cooked rare it was very tough and stingy. I have cooked better sirloins using Costco cuts on my pellet grill. We could not have asked for better service or a better atmosphere. We were seated near the fireplace and our server was personal, prompt and attentive.

What a difference two years make! I brought family two years ago (2022) and the food and service was a very disappointing experience from previous visits. This 2024 holiday season I decided to try again...GREAT decision!!! My family had an EXCELLENT experience. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful! The meats were prepared to perfection with many selections! The service was excellent, personable, professional, and very attentive to our 8-party needs. Texas de Brazil is back at the top of my group dining experience list for Huntsville. Highly recommended! And thank you to the management and serving team that made it an EXCELLENT experience.

My husband and I enjoy Ruth Chris Steak House every Christmas. It always has excellent food and service making it our special occasion place. It is expensive. We always enjoyed the previous location at the Embassy Hotel because of the elegant ambiance and quiet, private dining. The current crowded seating in a strip center is not right for fine dining. I understand that they may be moving. Hope they find a better location.

We loved our time at Char today, and Cassidy did an exceptional job as our server. The NOLA shrimp and blueberry bread pudding were perfect bookends to our meal. A+

We had a great family meal for an early Christmas celebration. The special was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our server was friendly and made us feel special. Highly recommend.
