I cannot wait for the Columbus facility to open as it is located in the area I stay when I visit. The service and experience at each Maestro's restaurant is second to none.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Union Square•4.5
- MMarianneVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were a larger party celebrating a friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. We enjoyed our experience very much. We had the seafood stew (excellent and piping hot), NY Steak (perfectly med rare), Filet Mignon (nice portion 7oz, not too huge, tender and also med rare. I recommend to include the sherry mushroom sauce for the filet mignon, I had it on the side), the braised short ribs (fork tender and amazing sauce), and Octopus with forbidden rice & squid ink (superb, supple, perfectly tender and full of flavor). We also had the vegetable sides; eggplant, cauliflower (only miss for us, too sweet for us), Yukon gold potatoes with chimmichurri (so deliciously creamy). We had a member in our party that's allergic to gluten and corn! The waiter was so thoughtful, he had the chef mark a menu with check marks next to items that my friend was safe to consume. Also, he had the kitchen separate out the polenta braised short ribs so she can share the dish without cross contamination. The waiter did this discreetly with my friend so nobody felt uncomfortable. We all enjoyed our experience very much. Thank you, Lolinda, for a delightful, perfectly prepared meal and lovely service. 10/10, highly recommend this restaurant.More infoLolindaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Mission District•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerSan Francisco Bay Area •71 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad a wonderful time with my wife who loved the executive cut of Prime Rib. I had the pepper New York steak with peppercorn sauce cooked medium rare. I was very disappointed with the pepper steak. It was cooked perfectly medium rare but it was very tough as though it was cooked extra well done. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom which was excellent. The desserts were apple bread pudding and baked Alaska and both were delicious. I still would recommend this restaurant because of the service and ambience but wouldn’t recommend the pepper steak. Next time I will order the prime rib.More infoHarris'Price: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Russian Hill•4.9
