- TTobySan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoFood was really good. However, I believe a bone inlay is not worth the cost. I love fillets, but the bone in left some Sinue in it, and I was not impressed. server was knowledgeable, but not overly friendly. Manager was fantastic, though. And the drinks were really tasty.More infoDel Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8

- TGTwoGingersPittsburgh / Western PA •8 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe recently dined at The Capital Grille to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of birthday confetti on our table. The meal started off well—the bread selection was fresh and delicious, and the Prosciutto-Wrapped Mozzarella with Vine-Ripe Tomatoes was enjoyable. The wedge salad was good, though a bit more blue cheese in the dressing would have enhanced the flavor. A complimentary tasting of the clam chowder was a nice surprise and absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we shared everything, and the staff was kind enough to split the dishes onto two plates for us. We ordered the Seared Sea Scallops with Maine Lobster and Asparagus Risotto, but unfortunately, the scallops were overcooked and smaller than expected. Additionally, my husband’s plate had no asparagus, while mine had just one piece. We also ordered the Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip (18 oz) but were instead served the Kona-Crusted Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip with Shallot Butter. While the steak was still good, it wasn’t as tender as we had hoped. On the bright side, the Au Gratin Potatoes were tasty and well-prepared. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary Capital Grille Cheesecake and Flourless Espresso Chocolate Cake, both of which were the perfect size and absolutely delicious. The cheesecake, in particular, was incredibly light and one of my favorites. Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner and appreciated the service and special touches for the occasion. However, we had high expectations for the entrées and were a little disappointed, especially with the scallops and the mix-up with our steak order. While there were some misses, we still had a pleasant experience and would consider returning.More infoThe Capital Grille - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
