Best Steakhouses in Kelowna

Booked a table for Valentine’s Night requesting the bar area (booth if even possible). Got delayed at Calgary airport and knew it was unlikely we would make the 8.30pm booking so sent a message to say we would be late if they could please hold a table for us. Received confirmation that they would. Arrived at 9.00pm, two tables were available in the bar area but the lady looked around and said she could try the dining room for us - I said no - that’s for families and old people, sorry!! So I asked if we could sit at one of the available tables - felt like I was asking a favour! Definitely no table was saved. Sat at one of the tables but we did move to the bar itself as there was a party of 6 incredibly loud guys right next to us. The bar tender (ashamed to say I cannot remember his name) was absolutely wonderful. Service was impeccable, food was outstanding. We stay with Four Points or Hamptons several times a year when we travel. Exceptional restaurant - that was the first time booking a table, maybe that’s where that went wrong although as I say, we were late. Thank you to the bar tender - great job!

The atmosphere was amazing! Service was fantastic. One dish ordered, the Beef Shortribs was very, very delicious and presented very well. Our other dish, Carbonara with Chicken was presented very nice as well. However was over seasoned and was very salty and we were able to eat only half of it. It was mentioned to the waitress, nothing more was said about it. It was Valentine's night and very busy. I would recommend

The food was fabulous! Highly recommend the tuna tartar! Sitting at the bar was a great way to challenge the bartender to make hand crafted cocktails. All of which were delicious.

Our food was outstanding! Our waiter Nick was awesome! Only thing is we were celebrating our Anniversary and this was the first time we never received a complimentary Billy Miner Pie to share, we had to pay for it? You would think we spent $256.60 including a generous tip that The Keg would have compted us one dessert?

Hatching Post never disappoints! Their meats are perfectly cooked, and OMG—the best mac and cheese ever! The drinks and desserts are delightful, and the classic, fantastic ambiance sets the mood. Our server was so sweet, adding so much to the experience. Definitely coming back!
