- MMariahChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoTHANK YOU STK! For my first experience here everything and everything was a blast… I don’t if it was the restaurant employees or just our server but everyone was pleasant and welcomingMore infoSTK – ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.1
- SSusanvipChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe dinner was amazing, staff was friendly and very attentive. Wine list/ cocktails are superb! This is a steakhouse and the steaks ordered at our table reflected why this is such a popular restaurant!! Our appetizers, salads and soups delicious, too. My only suggestion to management is improvement of seafood entrees. My salmon was “just ok,” and I immediately regretted not ordering steak with the price of entrees. ( To be fair, my husband told me to never order seafood at a steak restaurant, and I will not in the future:). Great place for a special occasion and we love to visit while visiting Chicago!More infoSmith & Wollensky Steakhouse - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- RRanyavipChicago / Illinois •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent yesterday for hubby's birthday. Overall, wonderful experience. At first, I was a little miffed being seated right by the open kitchen and hearing the expediter throughout our meal especially with this being a special occasion which is why I rated noise level a 4. But that annoyance quickly subsidded as soon as our main server Kellen introduced himself. He exuded warmth and just immediately put us at ease, just Loved him!. Additionally, our other server Ian was very pleasent and had a constant warm smile on his face and did a great job keeping our water filled, cooking our meat, and generally making sure we didn't need anything, such a pleasent person and on top of his work. When we first sat down, they welcomed us with a little birthday card for hubby signed by the staff. They also had a non alcoholic toast drink for us (we don't drink). The only thing they missed was a candle in the cake we ordered for dessert but I asked for one and they quickly brought it. We ordered the wagyu set with hanger steak add on, monkey bread, mixed greens, bone marrow, fois gras, scalops, beef fat fries, bolognese, chocolate cake, coffee and banana tea. Everything was delicious , monkey bread was the best and surprisingly the banana tea was so good. My husband loved his birthday meal and the experience was great. It is oblivious the staff are all happy to work there and they all get along with eachother. It's a great vibe amongst them and that comes through in the service to customers from the hostess desk to the bar to the servers to the kitchen staff. One thing I didn't like was the bone marrow as I expected to be more roasted which is not how they make it (other tables were eating it and looked to be enjoying it), it just wasn't to my taste. They proactively took that off the bill (didn't have to ask) which was a very nice gesture. I highly recommend you give them a try and we will for sure be back to dinner and also want to try lunch and brunch there. - SStacyChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLast my spouse & I celebrated our first date anniversary and chose Morton’s for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated at a booth which provided a fair amount of privacy and intimacy while still being open. Our server was lovely; engaging and attentive. She answered all of our questions with relevant information and we were very happy with how that enhanced our experience. We could not have asked for more. The food was wonderful: the starter was the Waygu meatballs, followed by filet mignon (with each of us choosing a different butter option), lobster Mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, topped off with the bread pudding. Both of us selected a beverage we enjoyed: Fireside for me and the Black Cherry Sour for my spouse. We left full and happy with the shared opinion that we would definitely return.More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - Chicago - Wacker PlacePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Loop•4.6
