Best Steakhouses in Bucktown / Wicker Park

The minute we walked in, they made us feel VIP. We celebrated a milestone birthday and requested a window view of the Chicago River. They accommodated and provided special birthday touches. A card and free dessert with a candle included. The best was the food. Amazing !

Our dinner at Prime & Provisions was outstanding. We started with handcrafted cocktails, each made with a special twist. Our server Drew was exceptional. He was attentive and engaging, explaining the menu and making sure our glasses were never empty (including our teen who was enjoying Shirley Temples). Our food was superb. My husband and one of our daughters enjoyed steaks, another daughter and I went with the Dover sole with the most delicious beurre blanc sauce, and our youngest enjoyed an off menu hamburger that Drew told her about. The sides were a hit as well - the mashed potatoes should not be missed! We ended the evening with the sundae cart and the banana cream pie. My only complaint of the evening was that we waited 25 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We had cocktails while we waited, but 25 minutes seemed a bit long to have to wait. After 15 minutes I expect a restaurant to offer a small apology - comp an app, offer an amuse bouche, just something to acknowledge the inconvenience. Once we were seated the wait time was quickly forgotten and we had a wonderful night.

El Che was an amazing, high quality, restaurant. Familiar dishes with a different spin that tasted great. The atmosphere was fun and the staff was super friendly. Our server Liam and the rest of the wait staff were on point and ensured the table was alway clear and clean. Wow! We totally recommend this place to everyone in the Chicago area.

I took my wife to the city for a pre Christmas dinner and we hadn't been to Gibson's all year, so of course we had to make one of our favorite spots the place to go. Carl and Lee (as well as the rest of the staff) were amazing and helped to make a special night even more memorable. And of course the food was phenomonal as always! We have wonderful food at many places in Chicago, but Gibson's is special. The staff makes it feel like it's always our first time here and the care they take to ensure our experience is memorable is truly inspiring.

Chicago Cut Steakhouse is the place to be! We’ve never disappointed. The service is so personalized, and ever detail of our dining experience was paid attention to. The food is delicious and done to perfection. We also enjoyed the Festive ambiance of the Holiday Season!
