Drinks were excellent and beer was ice cold. Great service and took a nut allergy seriously. Thank you Sunda!More infoSunda New Asian – NashvillePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Asian• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.7

Important is that good food, even great food is fantastic, but your team is always way above the mark on all levels. This is what we always recall first. We really had to laugh how everybody congratulated us on our 140th anniversary! We do age well... hahah. Michael, our guide thru the evening, added so much to the value of the night. Even if this is not your style of cuisine, the experience is worth trying. The food was outstanding. My wife really “does not like” sushi, sashimi, etc. However, she HIGHLY enjoyed 80% of the 14-course omakase. The quality of ingredients really sets this place apart, and provides a great opportunity to really learn about this style of cuisine. The chefs were exceptional, a great balance of social and professional. They were very willing to accommodate both gluten-free and kosher preferences. Also told us about each dish they made as it was being made in front of us. The drinks/cocktails were also great! Top class for Nashville. Great sake and Japanese whiskey selection as well. And the staff was incredible! Took our coats, checked on us regularly, and was an overall pleasure to interact with. We felt really well taken care of. Again, can’t recommend enough.More infoKase x NokoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• East Nashville•5

The shrimp cocktail was fresh, the cocktails were good- might have been better for a spot like this to have a mixologist on staff. The bread was amazing- however the truffle butter was over powering. Ordered a burger, bun was cheap- need to step up the bun and cheese game. The fries weren’t fresh cut, no onion rings on the menu- this is a steak house! In my party we ordered 2 different steaks and two sides. Corn bread wasn’t done all the way though, was soggy and underdone in center, creamed spinach was served in a small square bowl slopped on the side. Minor presentation things to work on. The salads we ordered weren’t show stoppers bacon bits from the freezer not lardons tossed in an abundance of dressing- instead of served on the side. Ordered the Freddie and the wedge. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great- but this spot didn’t earn my seal of approval to return or send people their way.More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - NashvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Sobro•4.9
- PPhomNashville •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe sushi is top notch and one of the best in Nashville. It’s in the touristy part of town but tucked away enough to be nice and cozy. Ambiance and noise level are good and I’ve had great service here, even when service had been at fault through miscommunication, the restaurant was willing to correct the issue. Sushi is fresh, creative, and tasty and there are lots of selections for Vegan sushi, more than I’ve seen compared to other places. Highly recommend this place if you’re downtown and want some high quality sushi.More infoBlue Sushi Sake Grill - Fifth + BroadwayPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Downtown / Sobro•4.5
