Now expanding to Honolulu, Hawaii, Robata JINYA plays to traditional robatayaki service of slow charcoal-grilled skewered meats and vegetables as well as exotic sushi and sashimi plates. Tomo aims to provide a lively space where sharing of small plates, as well as conversation, is encouraged. Further supporting the mission of comradery, Tomo chose the name “JINYA” in reference to the historical estates of samurai that later served as community meeting points. Welcome to Robata JINYA.

Amazing food but watch out for a lack of attention from certain servers as Bailey did nothing but take our order and essentially abondon the table in addition to not offering a printed bill but when reviewed on handheld had incorrect items charged. First time in years that I felt the need to lower the tip due to poor service. Hopefully management starts paying attention to customer satisfaction. All this is unfortunate as the menu and food is absolutely perfect!!
